This microcourse gets down to the nitty gritty of boundary-setting with clients, helping guide the way to a more sustainable practice. Understanding the impact of being flexible when clients test the boundaries of our policies helps guide future responses when we are asked to bend for clients... just this once. We have then inevitably created a precedent for future asks, and this is one of the most common slippery slopes we encounter. Ten minute calls, email and text communication, and late cancels are just a few of the topics we will explore.
